The Salsa web app is your universal portal to accessing your account so you can create and manage your events, learn from industry experts in the Photobooth Academy, and download the Salsa Marketing Materials.

What Is the Salsa Web App?

 

The Salsa web app is your primary place for creating and managing events, building proposals and portfolios, learning through the Photobooth Academy, and managing your Salsa account and devices.

The web app can be accessed from any device using a compatible browser – desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone.

Log in to the Salsa Web App

 

To log in to the Salsa web app, visit app.photoboothsupplyco.com and enter in the email address associated with your Salsa account and your account password.

You can log in to the Salsa web app from as many devices as you need with just a single license.

If you don’t have an account, you can create one directly from the Salsa web app. New accounts will receive a free, 30-day trial.

The Salsa web app is your central location for creating events, viewing our educational series, accessing marketing materials, and more.

Below is just a brief summary of what you’ll be able to do within the Salsa web app:

  • Create, edit, and manage events

  • Create a Virtual Booth event

  • View event analytics

  • Download event captures, sharing and survey stats, including lists of collected email addresses and phone numbers

  • Upload additional captures to the Live Gallery

  • Add or change your event passcode

  • View sample events for inspiration

  • Create event proposals

  • View the Photobooth Academy educational series

  • Access Salsa Marketing Materials

  • Create a portfolio of past events

  • Manage your billing information, subscription, licenses, and iPad devices

What To Know

All Events Screen

 

The first screen you’ll see after logging in is the All Event screen.

From here you’ll be able to create a new event, view existing events events – including sample events – and access other Salsa features.

Event Dashboard

 

The main page for all events is the Event Dashboard.

From here you can access the event settings, download event data, upload captures, view and delete captures, see at-a-glance information about the event, and access quick links to the Live Gallery and event analytics.

Event Settings

 

You can access the Event Settings by clicking Configure Event on the Event Dashboard. Here you can build and make changes to your event.

Photobooth Academy

 

Photobooth Academy is an expansive educational series of instructional videos on how to build a website, book clients, manage finances, set up events with Salsa, and so much more.

The series is broken up into three main categories: before, during, and after an event, with multiple chapters each with its own sections.

Some videos include valuable resources like free marketing materials, sample hiring ads, and links to additional education.

What To Know

Devices

 

Each iPad that is signed in to the Salsa iOS app is considered a device. Each device requires its own license in order to access and run in-person events.

From the Devices section of the Salsa web app you can manage your licenses and get information about the iPads that are signed into your Salsa account.

To remove an iPad from your list of devices and free up a license for another iPad to sign in, click Remove.

Information provided about each iPad includes:

  • Last activity date and time

  • iPadOS version

  • Salsa iOS app version

The Salsa Marketing Materials are a collection of valuable resources for creating events, building out your website, and other business tools like sample contracts, marketing videos, and more.

The Marketing Materials are exclusively available for owners of the Salsa Booth. If you don’t own a Salsa Booth already, you can check it out and purchase one here.

Manage Account

 

The Manage Account section of the Salsa web app allows you to make changes to your subscription, create and edit your portfolio, and manage your iPad devices, billing, and security.

While entire events can be created, edited, and managed from the Salsa web app, there are a few settings that can only be adjusted on the Salsa iOS app.

What To Know

Using the Salsa Web App on Mobile Browsers

 

The support site guides and instructions are written for the Salsa web app running on a desktop browser.

If you’re accessing the Salsa web app from a mobile device (such as a smartphone or tablet), certain menus and options may be located within a dropdown menu or “More…” button.

For example, if you’re configuring an event Capture Settings and Sharing are located in the “Event Settings” dropdown menu.

If you’re looking to change the Live Gallery settings, you will need to tap More… within the Event Settings to reveal the Live Gallery settings.
