FAQs

Where do I buy replacement parts?

You can purchase major replacement parts here. You can purchase minor replacement pieces here.

Can Salsa run on a battery?

Yes! Salsa needs to be plugged into a 110 - 120V outlet. We recommend the Anker Powerhouse, which can last for 6 to 12 hours depending on usage. We also have success with the Ryobi 40v, which gives 3-5 hours of power depending on how heavily the system gets used. You can purchase additional batteries for the Ryobi 40v for events needing additional power!

Why isn't my iPad charging in Salsa?

Try the following steps:

  1. Make sure you are using the correct charging cable. Salsa comes with a USB-C to USB-C charger, but if you are using a 2nd Generation iPad Pro, you will need a USB-C to Lightning charger.

  2. See if your iPad charges outside of Salsa booth using a separate charging cable. If the iPad still doesn’t charge, then it could be a faulty iPad or cable.

  3. If your iPad charges outside of Salsa booth, but not in Salsa booth, then please contact our support team.

My LED lights aren’t working!

Try the following steps:

  1. Watch the assembly videos to ensure that your iPad is set up and installed correctly inside Salsa.

  2. Connect Salsa App to the Salsa LEDs. View the tutorial here.

  3. Make sure that the LED brightness is not set to 0.

  4. Unpair and repair the LEDs.

  5. If problems persist, please contact our support team.

How do I clean my Salsa?

Your Salsa unit can be wiped down with an electronics cleanser, such as isopropyl alcohol. The only area that should not be wiped down with alcohol is the clear diffusor over the LEDs. This should be cleaned and wiped down with distilled water.

Can I leave my iPad in the Salsa head?

Your iPad can be left within the Salsa head and stored within the Salsa hard case in between events and when transporting the booth.

Can I test my Salsa without an iPad installed?

It’s necessary that either the cardboard faceplate insert or an iPad are installed into the faceplate at all times when the Salsa unit is powered on. Both are safe choices for your booth.
