Walkthrough
What are Fiesta Print Settings?

The Fiesta Print Settings allow you to adjust whether printing will be automatic or the guest's choice, how many prints will be printed, and finalize connection to the printer in the Fiesta iOS app. These features give you the control to limit the number of prints per print option, as well as total number of prints allowed for the event. Don't worry - there is the option to set any of these to unlimited as well!

There are also Advanced Settings available to adjust if your prints are skewed to the left, right, or zoomed in or out.

What To Know
Print Button

Enabling the Print Button in a Fiesta Event allows guests to decide whether to print their photo captures.

It is possible to limit the number of prints guests are allowed to set per session. This is to prevent any more rowdy guests from setting a ridiculously high number and run out of paper prematurely!

The print button will appear beside other Sharing options like Text and Email. This helps prevent extra waste at events where guests may not want to have a physical copy. It is possible for guests to print their captures later as well, if Gallery Mode is enabled.

What To Know
Auto Print

Auto Print prints photo captures and strips automatically after each guest's session. If enabled, a number of copies selected in the Event Settings will be printed from each session.

Auto Print can be enabled alongside the Print Button. This is a common choice when prints are being used for a photo guest book, so there will always be one print available for the book along with the number of prints guests request for themselves.

What To Know
Maximum Prints

The Maximum Print amount limits the total number of prints per event. This is a useful setting if you set a limit of prints for your clients or charge per print number, or if there is a limited amount of paper available.

While the Fiesta software does not track the exact number of prints, it can prevent prints after a certain amount.

Do not worry; this number is not mandatory, and can be set to an unlimited amount of prints as well!

What To Know
Advanced Print Settings

Advanced Settings provide greater control over how Fiesta prints photos and photo templates.

Advanced Settings controls two aspects of the printout:

  • Scale: the size of the image printed
  • Offset: the alignment of the image printed

After the printer is connected, occasionally the ratio or size will be off. This can look like a print with a white border, or the side cutting off, or the capture or photo template being zoomed in. These are issues that can intermittently affect the printing experience, which is why this setting can be adjusted per event as the issue arises.  The Advanced Settings allow you to fine-tune the ratio and size in case they are off.

Note: The Advanced Settings do not affect digital shares and only change how the images are printed.

How To
Adjust Scale

Scaling works by increasing or decreasing the overall size of the photo or photo template frame.

  • Default Value: 1.000
  • Range of Value: 0.000 to 2.000

Increasing the value will make the image on the print appear smaller, whereas decreasing the value will make the image appear larger.

Example: If there are unexpected white borders around the printed image, you will want to decrease the Scale. If parts of the image are cut off, you will want to increase the Scale.

How to adjust the Scale:

  1. Log in to the Fiesta Software
  2. Select the event you wish to adjust the size settings
  3. Select the Sharing tab
  4. Select Printing from the left navigation menu
  5. Select Advanced Settings
  6. Adjust the Scale using the + and - buttons

Note: we recommend adjusting these in larger increments first, then smaller increments until the desired size and position are achieved.

How To
Adjust Offset

Offsetting works by moving the whole photo template either left and right, or up and down, on an X and Y axis.

  • Default Values: 0
  • Range of Values: -1800 to 1800

Increasing the X Offset value will shift the image to the right, whereas decreasing the X Offset will shift the image to the left.

Example: If you set the X Offset to 20, the image will be printed out 20 pixels to the right. -20 will move it 20 pixels to the left.

Increasing the Y Offset value will move the image down, whereas decreasing the Y Offset will move the image up.

Example: If you set the Y Offset to 20, the image will be printed 20 pixels lower. -20 will move it 20 pixels higher.

How to adjust the x and y Offset:

  1. Log in to the Fiesta Software
  2. Select the event you wish to adjust the x and y offset
  3. Select the Sharing tab
  4. Select Printing from the left navigation menu
  5. Select Advanced Settings
  6. Adjust the x or y offset using the + and - buttons

Note: we recommend adjusting these in larger increments first, then smaller increments until the desired size and position are achieved.
