Choosing Media And Print Size With Fiesta

The Fiesta software is only compatible with 2x6 and 4x6 capture sizes at this time. Depending on the printer, this means only 2x6, 4x6, or possibly 6x8 media sizes will be compatible.

Figuring out which media size needed and which media types your printer takes is an important first step in the process!

What To Know
Compatible Print Sizes

Fiesta Software currently is only compatible with 2x6 and 4x6 print sizes. These two sizes are the two basic Photo Template sizes to choose from.
Overlay sizes that are compatible with printing are marked 3:2 and 2:3. If a different Overlay is selected and printed, the print will be stretched to fit the 4x6 ratio.

What To Know
Choosing The Correct Media

Many printers that are compatible with photo booths are set up for 2x6 and 4x6 prints, however there are some that include other sizes as well. It is important to purchase the correct media size when working with printers with alternate sizes.

Most printers that print 4x6 can also use 6x8 media for both 4x6 and 2x6 prints, however it is important to check with the manufacturer to make sure this is true for your printer.

5x7 print media will not work for 2x6 or 4x6 prints, as the aspect ratio is incorrect. Using this media size will result in either a white border on prints, or prints being stretched out.

There are a few printers that also require special media to accommodate 2x6 prints. When purchasing media, make sure the correct type for the event is purchased to prevent having to adjust the template!
