What Are Fiesta Modes?
In Fiesta, Modes are the different experiences or interactions available to guests during an event. Modes are grouped into two categories: Capture Modes and Other Modes.
An event always runs with at least one Capture Mode. If all Capture Mode toggles are turned off, Fiesta uses Photo Mode by default.
Different Modes change how guests capture, view, and share content during an event.
What To Know
Capture Modes
Capture Modes are the different capture options that can be enabled in Fiesta for guests to use during an event.
Most Capture Modes can be combined to match the needs of the event and the experience being created for guests. Some Modes, such as Slo-Mo Mode, have additional compatibility and setup requirements.
Fiesta includes six Capture Modes: Photo, Boomerang, GIF, Video, Slo-Mo, and 360 Video.
The Capture Modes section is also where settings for each mode can be adjusted, and where Photo Templates and Overlays can be assigned to each capture type individually.
Note: If all Capture Modes are turned off, Fiesta will run the event using Photo Mode as the default Capture Mode.

These modes include Gallery Mode and Sharing Station Mode, which allow guests to view and share captures from the event either directly from the booth or from a dedicated iPad set up as a Sharing Station.
Note: There are currently no Other Modes available for Virtual Events.

What To Know
Photo Mode
Photo Mode is the classic photo booth capture option.
Photo captures can use different layouts and aspect ratios, and can be taken as a single image or as part of a Photo Template with up to four images.
Photo captures can also be printed using a compatible AirPrint printer, an AirPrint-compatible wireless print server connected to a printer, or Chips.

What To Know
GIF Mode
GIF Mode takes a series of photos and combines them to create a short animated video capture, similar to a slideshow.
You can adjust how many photos are taken, how fast the photo cycle animation plays, and how much time each photo displays before switching to the next photo in the animation.
GIFs are exported as MP4 videos, so they are compatible across all devices and social media platforms.
What To Know
Boomerang Mode
Boomerangs are short, 1- to 4-second video clips that repeatedly play forward and then backward in a loop.
The length of the unlooped recording can be adjusted in the Boomerang configuration settings to give guests more time during capture.

What To Know
Video Mode
Video Mode allows for longer-form captures: up to 15 seconds for Fiesta Plus subscribers, or up to 120 seconds for Fiesta Pro subscribers.
Video captures also support audio recording to allow guests to record an audio message with their Video capture—such as birthday wishes, wedding greetings, or testimonials—depending on the event.
For the best experience when capturing audio with Video captures, it is recommended to use a supported microphone for in-person events run on the Fiesta iOS App.
Notes:
- Audio recording is turned off by default. To enable it, select Modes > Video and turn on Recording Audio. For iPad Events, Fiesta must also have permission to access the iPad's microphone.
- Longer Video captures may take additional time to process and upload.
What To Know
360 Video Mode
360 Video Mode is the only Capture Mode available for 360 events. It records a 360-degree video of guests using a Tortilla 360 booth, adding effects such as a Soundtrack, Overlay, and an Intro and Outro Video.
360 Video Mode in Fiesta includes both the 360 Event Effects and Tortilla Arm settings.

Notes:
- 360 Events are only available on the Fiesta Pro subscription tier.
- 360 Video cannot be disabled as it is the only Capture Mode available for 360 Events.
- Audio recording is not available for 360 Video captures.
What To Know
Slo-Mo Mode
Slo-Mo Mode is available only for Guac Events using the DSLR Event Type.
Slo-Mo Mode records a short video at 120 frames per second and slows it down to create a slow-motion effect.
Enabling Slo-Mo Mode requires changing camera settings on the Guac's Canon camera to work correctly.

Notes:
- When Slo-Mo Mode is enabled, Boomerang and Video Modes cannot be selected. After the event, restore the Canon camera settings before using other Capture Modes.
- Slo-Mo Mode is only available on the Fiesta Pro subscription tier.
What To Know
Sharing Station Mode
Sharing Station Mode allows guests to share captures from a separate iPad while the photo booth remains available for new guests. This can help reduce lines by moving Sharing actions, such as entering a phone number or email address, away from the main booth.
Guests take captures at the photo booth first, then move to the nearby Sharing Station to share their captures using the Sharing Methods enabled for the event. This helps keep the main booth available for the next guests.

Notes:
- Sharing Station Mode requires Wi-Fi and is only available on the Fiesta Pro subscription tier.
- Fiesta Pro supports unlimited Sharing Stations when the account has at least one active license. A separate license is not required for each Sharing Station.
What To Know
Gallery Mode
Gallery Mode allows guests to view and reshare captures from an active event in the Fiesta iOS App. Guests can select a capture to share or reprint it using the Sharing and Printing options enabled for the event.
Guests can access Gallery Mode by tapping the Tap To Start Screen and selecting Gallery. If Gallery Mode is enabled during an active event, captures taken earlier in the event will also appear in the Gallery.
What To Know
Camera Settings
Camera Settings control how captures are recorded and appear. Available settings include Aspect Ratio, White Balance, and Exposure Compensation.
Default Camera Settings work well in most conditions. Review them during event setup and adjust them as needed for the venue and lighting.
