What is GIF Mode?
GIF Mode takes a series of photos and combines them to create a short animated video capture, similar to a slideshow.
In Fiesta, how many photos are taken, how fast the photo cycle animation plays, and how long each photo is displayed before switching to the next photo in the animation can all be adjusted.
GIFs are exported as MP4 videos, so they are compatible across all devices and social media platforms.
How To
Add An Overlay
- Log in to Fiesta
- Select an event or create a new event
- Select Configure Event
- Select the Modes tab
- Select GIF from the left navigation
Note: Ensure GIF Mode is toggled on - Select the + Add Design button under Overlay
- Select Create New Design, Select From Existing Designs, or Upload From Your Device
What To Know
Playback Speed
Playback Speed is the speed at which each GIF photo is shown in the GIF animation. The Playback Speed and Number of Frames work together to control the visual appearance of the finished GIF capture.
A slow Playback Speed gives an effect closer to a slideshow, while a faster Playback Speed will look more similar to a flip book animation.
How To
Select Playback Speed
- Log in to Fiesta
- Select an event or create a new event
- Select Configure Event
- Select the Modes tab
- Select GIF from the left navigation
Note: Ensure GIF Mode is enabled - Select Slow, Medium, or Fast under Playback Speed
What To Know
Number Of Frames
The Number Of Frames for a GIF capture controls the number of individual photos taken for the GIF. The fewer the captures, the less animated and more like a slideshow the capture looks. The Number of Frames can range from two (2) to six (6).
Number of Frames works together with Playback Speed to give either more of an animated look, or more of a slideshow appearance for GIF captures.
How To
Adjust Number Of Frames
- Log in to Fiesta
- Select an event or create a new event
- Select Configure Event
- Select the Modes tab
- Select GIF from the left navigation
Note: Ensure GIF Mode is enabled - Select the + and - icons to adjust Number Of Frames
What To Know
Timer
The Timer sets the amount of time between each photo taken to make the GIF. The Timer can range from 1 second to 5 seconds.
The shorter the Timer is set between captures, the less time guests have to adjust their pose, while a longer Timer amount gives guests time to strike a different pose.
A shorter Timer can be used to capture a more stop-motion look, while a longer Timer can be used for more of a short slideshow appearance.
How To
Adjust Timer
- Log in to Fiesta
- Select an event or create a new event
- Select Configure Event
- Select the Modes tab
- Select GIF from the left navigation
Note: Ensure GIF Mode is enabled - Select the + and - icons to adjust Timer
