What Are Event Types?
Fiesta supports four event types: iPad, DSLR, 360, and Virtual.
The event type determines which booth hardware is used, how guests interact with the event, and which features are available during setup and capture.
What To Know
In-Person Events
In-Person Events include iPad Events, DSLR Events, and 360 Events. These event types use physical booth hardware that guests interact with during capture.
-
iPad Event
Salsa 1 and Salsa 2 Photo Booths use an iPad as both the guest-facing interface and the camera for capture. This event type is typically simpler to set up because the iPad handles both interaction and media capture. -
DSLR Event
Guac uses an iPad as the guest-facing interface and a DSLR camera for capture. This event type provides more control over image quality and camera settings, but requires more setup than an iPad Event.
Note: A Guac setup is required to run a DSLR Event in Fiesta. Salsa Booth and third-party photo booths do not support Fiesta DSLR Events. Learn more about Guac & Chips -
360 Event
Tortilla uses an iPhone as both the guest-facing interface and the camera for 360 video capture. This event type supports a single capture format and has a setup flow similar to an iPad Event.
Note: In-Person and Virtual Events must be created and run as separate events. No single event can be set as an In-Person Event and Virtual Event at the same time.
How To
Start An In-Person Event
- Log in to the Fiesta iOS App
- Select the event
- Tap Start Event on the top right of the page
- Tap Start Photo Booth on the bottom of the System Check page
Note: The System Check page will show an overview of your hardware connections, event assets, internet status, passcode status, and available iPad storage.
What To Know
Virtual Events
A Virtual Event allows guests to join from their own phones, tablets, or computers. Their personal device acts as both the interface they interact with and the camera used to capture media during the event.
Note: In-Person and Virtual Events must be created and run as separate events. A single event cannot be configured as both an In-Person Event and a Virtual Event at the same time.
Note: Virtual Events require a Fiesta Pro subscription and are not available on Fiesta Plus.

- Select the event
- Tap Copy Link on the top right of the page
