This article walks through the Guac Photo Booth assembly process in the recommended order. Each section includes a summary of that stage and links to the full detailed instructions.
Before You Start
Before assembling your Guac Booth, make sure to have:
- Updated to the latest version of iPadOS
- Updated to the latest version of the Fiesta iOS App
- Logged into an active Fiesta account

Important Safety Note
International Power Requirements
IMPORTANT: If the Guac Photo Booth was purchased outside of the United States or is intended for use internationally, a step-down converter is required. Guac is designed to run on 120V power. Failing to use a step-down converter can result in significant damage to the Guac Booth and potentially the surrounding area.
Note: Domestic use of Guac within the United States should not use a step-down converter unless the power source runs on a circuit greater than 120V.

Step One
Set Up And Install The Camera
Begin by setting up and installing the camera into Guac.
What you'll need:
- Canon camera
- Guac Head
- Canon battery
- Canon battery adapter
- Flash sync cable
- Camera sync cable

Step Two
Set Up And Install The iPad
Next, install the iPad, connect it to Guac, and adjust the recommended settings for the best experience.

What you’ll need:
- Supported iPad (see the full list of supported iPads for Guac here)
- Guac Head (with the camera installed)
- Phillips head screwdriver
Note: Do not use power tools when screwing in the faceplate.
Step Three
Assemble Guac Booth
Once the camera and iPad are installed, continue with the full Guac assembly.
What you’ll need:
- Guac Base Plate
- Guac Poles
- Guac Head (with camera and iPad installed)
- Godox Flash
- Flash Reflector
- Flash Umbrella
- 25’ AC power cable
Optional parts:
- Printer USB cable

Step Four
Set Up The Guac Dashboard
After Guac is fully assembled, the final step is setting up the Guac Dashboard in the Fiesta iOS App, and checking for available firmware updates.
