Salsa 1 Booth Disassembly

Before You Start

Before disassembling your Salsa 1 Booth, make sure that: 

  • The Salsa 1 is unplugged from power to prevent potential damage
  • The Salsa 1 case and felt inserts are nearby
  • A flat, secure surface is available to place the Salsa 1 head on during disassembly

Disassembling Your Salsa 1 Booth

What you'll need:

  • Salsa 1 case
  • The felt inserts provided with the booth

Step One
Shut Down The iPad And Unplug Power Cables

  1. Turn off the iPad through iPad settings
    Note: The iPad does not need to be removed from the Salsa 1 during transport
  2. Disconnect the AC and DC power cables 
  3. Wrap the AC cable and store it safely in the case

Step Two
Detach The Salsa 1 Head

  1. Loosen the knobs carefully, ensuring the Salsa 1 head is properly supported
  2. Remove the Salsa 1 head
  3. Disconnect the DC cable from the bottom of the Salsa 1 head
  4. Place the Salsa 1 head face down on a flat, secure surface

Step Three
Disconnect The Poles And Baseplate

  1. Loosen knobs on the top pole
  2. Feed the DC cable through the top pole
  3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the bottom pole
  4. Remove the DC cable from the baseplate
  5. Wrap the DC cable and store it safely in the case

Step Four
Packing The Salsa 1 Into The Case

  1. Place poles in case with knobs facing away from the case wheels
  2. Place one of the provided felt inserts on top of the poles
  3. Store the baseplate with the feet side down to avoid any scratches to your poles
  4. Place the second provided felt insert on top of the baseplate
  5. Place the Salsa 1 head iPad in the case with the iPad side down and the hinge facing away from the case wheels
  6. Push the hinge down and turn the tilt lever handle downward 
    Note: You may need to loosen the tilt lever to make adjustments to the hinge

Optional Step Five

Shipping Or Traveling With The Salsa 1

  1. Remove any unnecessary items from within the case that could potentially cause damage
  2. Use zip ties to keep the Salsa 1 case securely closed during transport
  3. If flying with Salsa 1, you can remove the baseplate and transport it separately to help reduce additional checked baggage fees from weight restrictions.
