Guac Flash Errors

The Guac Photo Booth Flash helps produce high-quality DSLR captures. When the flash does not fire, captures may appear dark, underexposed, complete black, or lower quality than expected.

Most flash issues can be resolved in a few minutes by checking the flash power, sync cable connection, flash adapter, or flash settings.

What To Know
Flash Randomly Firing

Possible cause:

  • Another nearby device may be using the same wireless channel

How To
Resolve: Flash Randomly Firing

  1. Press and hold the GR/CH button for two seconds, until the channel ID number blinks
  2. Rotate the dial to select any channel between 25 and 29
  3. Press the dial to confirm the selection
  4. To remove the wireless tower icon from the upper-left corner of the Godox Flash unit display, press and hold the GR/CH and S1/S2 buttons at the same time

Note: Channels 1 through 4 are the most common wireless channels. Selecting a channel between 25 and 29 reduces the likelihood of another device using the same channel, which can cause accidental misfires.
