Issue Summary

Some users have experienced an issue where the Background Removal section appears with an Overlay in Proposals despite having Background Removal disabled in their event settings.

Customers may describe this issue in one of the following ways:

  • Why does my Proposal show a Background Removal section with an Overlay while I have Background Removal disabled in my event configuration?
  • Background Removal is showing in the Proposal even though it is turned off
  • The Virtual Overlay still appears after disabling Background Removal
  • The Proposal shows Background Removal settings that are disabled
  • A Virtual Overlay is still visible in the Proposal
  • The Proposal does not match the event’s Background Removal settings
  • Disabled Background Removal assets are still showing in the Proposal

 

Who Is Affected

This issue may affect customers using:

  • Fiesta Web App versions 1.7.1+

 

What Happens

When Background Removal is disabled for an event, the Proposal may still display a Virtual Overlay even though Background Removal settings are turned off.

 

Workaround Steps

  1. Enable Background Removal in your event configuration
  2. Remove any Virtual Backgrounds or Virtual Overlays
  3. Re-disable Background Removal

 

When Will This Be Fixed?

We do not have an exact release date yet. This article will be updated when a fix is available.
