What are Fiesta Modes?

Modes in Fiesta refer to the different primary options users can select in the event. These include two different types: Capture Modes and Other Modes. Multiple options can be selected from either Modes list, however at least one Capture Mode must be selected for the event to run.

Different Modes add different interactions to the Event.

What To Know
Capture Modes

Capture Modes are the different capture options in the Fiesta Software that you can offer for guests to choose from while using your photo booth. You can select any combination of Capture Modes to give your clients exactly what they are looking for.

The Capture Modes settings screen is also where you can adjust the individual settings for each type of capture, add photo templates, and add overlays for each capture type separately. Each Capture Mode is customizable.

Photo mode is the classic photo booth capture option.

Photos can be captured in various shapes and sizes, and can be either a standalone image, or a collection of up to four images in a single Photo Template.

What To Know
GIF Mode

GIF mode takes a series of photos and combines them to create a short animated video capture, similar to a slideshow.

You can adjust how many photos are taken, how fast photo cycle animation plays, and how much time each photo displays before switching to the next photo in the animation.

GIFs are exported as MP4 videos, so they are compatible across all devices and social media platforms.

Boomerang Mode

Boomerangs are short 1 to 4 second video clips that repeatedly play forward, then backward in a loop.

You can adjust the length of the unlooped video recording from the Boomerang capture mode configuration screen to provide guests with more time to get in all of their best moves!

What To Know
Video Mode

Video mode allows for longer form captures, up to 15 seconds for Fiesta Plus subscribers or up to 120 seconds for Fiesta Pro subscribers.

Video captures also support audio recordings to allow guests to record an audio message with their Video capture - such as birthday wishes, wedding greetings, or testimonials - depending on the event.

For the best experience when capturing audio with Video captures, it is recommended to use a supported microphone for in-person events run on the Fiesta iOS App.

What To Know
360 Video Mode

The 360 Video Mode is the only capture mode currently available for 360 events. It captures a 360 video of the guests in the 360 booth, adding effects such as a soundtrack, overlay, and an intro and outro video.

360 Video mode in the Fiesta software encompasses both the 360 Event Effects and Tortilla arm settings.

Slo Mo Mode

Slo-Mo mode is a Capture Mode exclusive to Guac Photo Booths when running a DSLR Event Type.

Slo-Mo mode records a short video at 120 frames per second, and slows it down to create a slow motion effect.

Enabling Slo-Mo mode requires changing camera settings on your Guac's Canon camera to work correctly.

What To Know
Sharing Station Mode

Sharing Station mode allows guests to share their captures from a separate iPad while also maintaining the look and feel of the event. This enables a smoother flow when there are a large number of guests attending an event who would like to utilize the booth, and can help avoid a long line of guests waiting while other guests are entering their phone number or email address on the photo booth.

While using a Sharing Station, guests start by taking captures at the photo booth. Once captures have been taken, they can be guided away from the photo booth to the nearby Sharing Station, where they can share their captures with the Sharing Methods that are enabled for the event. That way, there is never a bottleneck or delay for the next guests to take captures at an event!

Note: Each iPad utilized as a Sharing Station requires its own separate Fiesta license.

What To Know
Gallery Mode

Gallery Mode allows guests to view and share their previous captures directly from within an active event on the Fiesta iOS App.

Tapping on any of the captures displayed in Gallery Mode provides the option to reshare the capture using any of the event's enabled Sharing Methods. For example, if a guest wants to share their captures to a friend or family member, or if a guest wants to reprint captures, Gallery Mode should be enabled, and can be accessed after tapping on the Tap To Start Screen.

What To Know
Camera Settings

Camera Settings in the Fiesta software adjust how different Capture Modes are captured by the device. These include Aspect Ratio, White Balance, and Exposure Compensation. We recommend adjusting most of these when setting up in the venue for in-person events to ensure everything is set per the lighting at the event.
