What is Virtual Event Sharing?
Virtual Event Sharing is how virtual event guests share their captures. At this time, Email sharing is the only sharing option when using Virtual Events. Since Email sharing is the only Sharing option, it is always enabled for Virtual Events.
With a range of customizable options, Email Sharing can help increase your brand visibility while simultaneously providing guests with a familiar platform to receive their captures.
What To Know
Email Customization
Email sharing is very customizable! Here are a few basic settings that are important to know:
Sender’s Name
This is the name that shows your recipients who the email is from. Most booth owners put their company’s name here.
Subject Line
This is whatever you would like to have appear in the subject line of the received email. We like “Honk if You Love Your Photos!”, but you do you.
Reply-to Address
The Reply-to Address gives your guests an option to get in direct contact with you. This is a great way for interested guests to reach out to you for booking their upcoming events!
Custom Send Address
By default, email shares will come from email@boothmailer.com. If you’d like to show your email address instead, you will need to set up your domain.
Note: this is a more advanced feature and requires some knowledge of domains and how to change their settings.
How To
Enable Branding Settings
- Log into the Fiesta app
- select a virtual event or create a new event
- Select Configure Event
- Select the Sharing tab
- Select Email
- Toggle on Use Branding Settings
What To Know
Branding Settings
By default, Email Shares will apply the settings within the event’s Branding section.
This provides for a more consistent design and guest experience across the event’s Email Shares, Live Gallery, Proposal, and Virtual Booth (if you’re setting up a Virtual Event).
Turning off Use Branding Settings will allow you to make specific design changes that will only apply to Email Shares.

Messaging
The Messaging section of the Email Sharing settings allows you to place a headline and body of text to be included within the email received by guests.
This area is great for leaving a short greeting, promotional information, or additional details about the event from the client or host.

What To Know
Custom Send Address
The Custom Send Address can be found within the Advanced Settings for Email Shares.
By default, emails are sent from a generic email address (email@boothmailer.com). This can be changed to your own business email address for all Email Shares – from in-person events, virtual events, and the sharing station.
Note: Custom Sending Address requires a custom domain name.
