What Are Event Types?

Event types depend on what physical booth if any, you decide to use at your events. Fiesta is optimized for four different event types: iPad, DSLR, 360, and Virtual.

Depending on the event type you select, different capabilities and features will be available to you and your guests.

Features

In-Person Events

In-Person Events are comprised of iPad Events and DSLR Events, and take place using a physical booth that guests interact with to take captures. These events can range from weddings to school dances and anything in between!

  • iPad Event
The Salsa Booth uses an iPad both as the interface platform that guests interact with, and the camera that captures all media during the event. These events are simple to set up when using the automated camera settings within the iPad, and you only have to manage the settings of a single device (iPad).

  • DSLR Event
The Guac Booth uses an iPad as the interface platform that guests interact with, in conjunction with a DSLR camera controlled by the iPad. This event mode gives you more control to take sharp, hi-resolution captures, but takes a bit more work to set up. Settings such as the Camera Settings are manually set for each event and require more nuance than an iPad Event.

Note: You must be a Guac owner in order to run a DSLR event using Fiesta. The Salsa Booth and third-party photo booths do not support running a Fiesta DSLR event.

  • 360 Event
The Tortilla Booth uses an iPhone as both the interface platform that guests interact with, and the camera that captures 360 videos during the event. These events only have one capture type, unlike our other Events, and the setup is straightforward, similar to the iPad Event!

Features

Virtual Events

A Virtual Event allows guests from anywhere in the world to attend. Their personal devices will act as both the interface platform they interact with and the camera to capture all media during the event. That means Virtual Booth attendees can take captures with their phones, computers, or tablets!
