What Is Lamp Mode?
Lamp Mode is a mode for Salsa’s LEDs that sets them to a solid, white light allowing them to stay on even when outside of the Salsa iOS app.
Lamp Mode can be used for taking professional shots of the booth, keeping your area at the venue lit during downtime, or quite literally as a lamp.
When set to Lamp Mode, the LEDs will turn on immediately and stay on while the booth is plugged into power.
In fact, this is how all Salsa booths are shipped. That way, when they arrive and are plugged in for the first time, you get that satisfying glow of Salsa’s LEDs.
How To
Turn on Lamp Mode
To turn on Lamp Mode:
Plug Salsa into power
Launch the Salsa iOS app
From the All Events screen, tap the Settings gear in the top right corner
Tap Lamp Mode
If the LEDs aren’t paired, tap Pair with LED
Once paired, tap Launch Lamp Mode
Once Lamp Mode is turned on, you can exit the Salsa iOS app and the lights will remain on.
To return to Salsa’s customizable LED Branding:
Select an event from the All Event screen
Tap the Settings gear in the top right corner
Tap Guest Interface
Tap LED Branding
What To Know
How Lamp Mode Works
Turning on Lamp Mode sends a signal to Salsa’s LEDs via Bluetooth. This set the LEDs so that it can run independently of the Salsa iOS app.
Lamp Mode sets the LEDs to a solid white light at 50% brightness. While in this mode the LED color, pattern, and brightness cannot be adjusted.
How To
Exit Lamp Mode
If you want to return to using Salsa’s customizable LED Branding or prevent the LEDs from turning on immediately when plugged into power, you can exit Lamp Mode.
To exit Lamp Mode:
Plug Salsa into power
Launch the Salsa iOS app
Tap Quit Lamp Mode
To turn LED Branding back on:
Select an event from the All Event screen
Tap the Settings gear in the top right corner
Tap Guest Interface
Tap LED Branding
