Turn on Green Screen
To turn on Green Screen
Select the event
Tap Mode Editor
Tap Enabled under Green Screen Photo Mode
Tap Select to choose an image to use for Green Screen
How To
Upload a New Green Screen Background
Once Green Screen is turned on, you can either select a previously uploaded image to use for the captures or you can upload a new image from the computer.
To upload a new Green Screen Background
Select the event
Tap Mode Editor
Tap Enabled under Green Screen Photo Mode
Tap Upload to choose an image from Queso’s hard drive, flash drive, or connected cloud storage
Once uploaded, you can then select it by tapping Select under Select Background.
What To Know
Green Screen Backdrop
To set up the green screen feature, it is essential that you use a backdrop that has been made for green screens.
Green screen backdrops are solid color backgrounds that use a specific shade of either green or blue to make it easier for Queso to tell the difference between the guest and the background.
This should have the correct, standardized green or blue color to ensure that Queso will be able to detect the green color and replace it with the image you’ve selected.

What To Know
Best Practices for Green Screen Lighting
Basic Setup
Using Queso by itself may cause intense shadows behind the guests, leading to a halo-effect around the guests, exposing the green screen.
This setup is best in a brightly lit environment.
Recommended Setup
This requires two external lights placed in a 45 degree angle facing behind the guests and toward the green screen.
This will fill in the shadows causing a well lit green screen.
What To Know
File Requirements
Green Screen Photo Mode only supports JPG images to be used as the green screen background. For the best results, use the following file type and dimensions
