This article walks through the Salsa 1 Photo Booth assembly process in the recommended order. Each section includes a summary of that stage and links to the full detailed instructions.
Before You Start
Before assembling your Salsa 1 Photo Booth, make sure you have:
- Updated to the latest version of iPadOS
- Updated to the latest version of the Fiesta iOS App
- Signed in with an active Fiesta account
- A compatible iPad with recommended settings already configured

Important Safety Note
Install An iPad Or Cardboard Placeholder Before Powering On
Always have an iPad installed before turning your Salsa 1 Photo Booth on!
- The warranty will be voided if Salsa 1 is powered on without an iPad or the cardboard insert installed.
- Keep Salsa 1's cardboard insert. If an iPad is not yet installed, the cardboard insert can remain in place when powering on the booth to ensure the booth receives power correctly.
Step One
Install The iPad Into Salsa 1
Start by installing the iPad into the Salsa 1 Head and preparing it for booth assembly.
What you'll need:
- Salsa 1 Head
- Compatible iPad for the Salsa 1 Booth
- Salsa 1 iPad Charging Cable (USB-C)
- Phillips head screwdriver
Note: Salsa 1 Photo Booth comes with a standard faceplate designed for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro (3rd-6th generation). For a different compatible iPad model, purchase an alternative faceplate here.
IMPORTANT: Do not use power tools when screwing in the faceplate.
Step Two
Assemble Salsa 1
After the iPad is installed, continue by assembling Salsa 1's Base Plate, Poles, and power components.
What you'll need:
- Salsa 1 Head with the iPad installed
- Salsa 1 Base Plate
- Two (2) Salsa 1 Poles
- Salsa 1 DC Extension Cable
- Salsa 1 Power Supply
- Salsa 1 AC Power Cable

After The Event
Disassemble Salsa 1
When the event is over, power down Salsa 1 and disassemble the booth before packing it into the case.
To keep the booth in the best condition, return each part to the case in the same position it was packed originally.
