Gallery Mode

Gallery Mode in Salsa is slightly different than the Live Gallery. Having this mode enabled will allow your guests to come back to your booth to print out, resend, or reshare their photos, videos, GIFs, and Boomerangs that they had previously taken. 📸

Quick Start

How to Set up Gallery Mode Walkthrough Video

In this video, you will learn:

  • What Gallery Mode is

  • How to turn on Gallery Mode

What Is Gallery Mode?

Gallery Mode allows guests to view previous captures from the event directly from the Salsa iOS app –

Guests will be presented with the same sharing options turned on for the event. This allows guests to share captures again or for the first time.

Note: Gallery Mode is exclusive to the Salsa iOS app and will not appear in Virtual Booth events.

Turn on Gallery Mode

To turn on Gallery Mode:

  1. Log in to the Salsa web app

  2. Select an event or create a new event

  3. Click Configure Event

  4. Click Capture Settings

  5. In the Modes tab check the Gallery option to enable

Access Gallery Mode

When Gallery Mode is turned on, the Gallery button will appear alongside the other capture modes enabled for the event.

Tapping Gallery will display all captures from that event – including captures taken in Virtual Booth.

Guests will be able to select any of the captures and share them using the sharing methods turned on for that event.

There are a few things to know about how – and when – Gallery Mode displays the event captures.

  • The individual photo captures of a photo template are displayed in Gallery Mode

  • Gallery Mode displays all captures taken during the event, including Virtual Booth captures and ones taken on another iPad running the same event in Salsa

  • In order to display captures taken on other devices, the iPad will need to be connected to a reliable WiFi network.

  • Captures that have not been uploaded to the Live Gallery will be shown in Gallery Mode with the text Queued for Upload
