What Is Text Sharing?

Your QuesOS subscription includes unlimited text messages, allowing guests to conveniently share captures directly to their phone.

Customized messages can be included with captures for personalization, providing information, or branding purposes.

Important: Live Gallery is required to share Boomerang, GIF, and Video captures using Text Sharing. Photo captures can be shared via text with or without having Live Gallery turned on for the event.

What To Know

Text Message Best Practices

We want your messages to be delivered with a 100% success rate. Here are some suggestions that will help you avoid having your texts being marked as spam by cell carriers:

  • Consider limiting your text to include one link (the link to the shared media) - using more than one link will raise red flags

  • Don't use hashtags or @ (# or @) in your messages, as these are frequently used in spam messages

  • Limit the use of emoji - using a lot of emoji will raise red flags

  • Keep the message you send out clear and direct

How To

Attach Photo Captures to Text Shares

By default, photo captures will be sent as an attachment in text shares. However, if Live Gallery is turned on, a link to the capture will be sent instead.

To include the photo as an attachment along with a link to the Live Gallery, you can turn on SMS Attachments within the Live Gallery settings.

To turn on SMS Attachments:

  1. Launch QuesOS

  2. Select an event or create a new event

  3. Tap Live Gallery

  4. Tap the checkbox under SMS Attachments

How To

Turn Off Text Shares

Text Sharing is turn on by default for all new events. If you don’t want to provide texting as an option for guests to share their captures, you can turn it off within the Sharing settings.

To turn off Text Sharing:

  1. Launch QuesOS

  2. Select an event or create a new event

  3. Tap Sharing

  4. Tap Disabled under Texting
