What Is The Portfolio?

Explainer-WhatisthePortfolio.png

The Portfolio is a link that can be embedded on a website or used as a standalone page to display captures from past events run on the account.

The events the captures are pulled from can be selected and the order adjusted in a number of ways. A password can also be set to limit visibility to certain clients. The style can also be adjusted to better fit the brand!

The Portfolio can be used to display the range of events that can be run, or focus more on one style of event to show prospective clients. Whatever way the Portfolio is used, it is a fantastic way to easily show off different events run, built directly into the Fiesta software for convenience!

Adding Captures To Portfolio

Once the Portfolio is enabled, the next step is to add captures for display! These can be captures from a single type of event, or from a range of events depending on the desired use.

When adding captures, it is important to remember all captures in a selected event will be displayed to the Portfolio; there is no way to block certain captures from an event. Any captures uploaded to an event after it has been added to the Portfolio will be added to the Portfolio as well.

Password Protection

The Portfolio is usually used to display to potential clients the different setups possible. Note: Portfolio Embed Codes are only available on the Fiesta Pro subscription tier.

What To Know
Branding

WhatToKnow-Branding.png

Like the Live Gallery, Proposal, and Email features, the Portfolio can be adjusted to better match a specific brand style. This allows further customization to match a website, brand tone, or better flow within the client process currently set up.

The branding has many of the same options across all features to better align and maintain an easy workflow, so if the Branding has been set up before, it is easy to copy over!

What To Know
FAQ

I've updated my Portfolio but my website is not showing the update! What is happening?

  • The direct Portfolio link will update immediately, however the Embed could take between 15 minutes and 48 hours depending on the rate the website provider updates the view.
  • To update the Embed faster, it can be removed and re-added to the website.

Can I share only some captures from an event to the Portfolio?

  • It is not possible to limit the number of captures shared from an event to the Portfolio.
  • A workaround would be to download the captures for the Portfolio from the initial event, duplicate the event, upload the desired captures to the duplicated event, and share the duplicated event to the Portfolio.
