  • Printer Settings: The Printer Settings section allows you to adjust media size, configure print options, and manage other printer-specific preferences to optimize printing performance.

  • Print Queue: The Print Queue lets you monitor and manage print jobs, ensuring smooth operation by providing visibility into active and pending print tasks.

Best Practices For Updating Firmware

Here are some best practices for updating the Chips firmware:

  • Check for iPadOS and Fiesta updates first
Make sure the iPad is running the latest version of iPadOS and the Fiesta app is up to date before updating the firmware. This helps avoid compatibility issues and ensures the latest features and fixes are in place.
  • Ensure Stable Power Supply:
Before starting the update, ensure the booth has a stable power connection to avoid interruptions during the process.
  • Avoid Interruptions During the Update:
Do not turn off or unplug the booth or iPad while the firmware is being updated to prevent corruption of the update.
  • Update During Off-Peak Hours:
If possible, perform the update during off-peak hours or when the booth isn’t being used for events to minimize disruption.
  • Test Booth Features After Update:
After updating, test the booth’s major features (e.g., camera, printer, LED ring) to ensure everything works as expected.
