Here are some best practices for updating the Tortilla firmware:

Check for iPhone iOS and Fiesta updates first
Make sure the iPad is running the latest version of iPadOS and the Fiesta app is up to date before updating the firmware. This helps avoid compatibility issues and ensures the latest features and fixes are in place. -
Check that Bluetooth is enabled
Before starting a firmware update, ensure that Bluetooth is turned on. This is essential for the booth's hardware to connect properly to the Fiesta app during the update process. -
Ensure Stable Power Supply
Before starting the update, ensure the booth has a stable power connection to avoid interruptions during the process. -
Avoid Interruptions During the Update
Do not turn off or unplug the booth or iPad while the firmware is being updated to prevent corruption of the update. -

Check For Tortilla Firmware Updates
- Power On The Tortilla
- Log in to the Fiesta iOS App
- Tap the Account Icon in the top right corner
- Tap Hardware Dashboard
- Tap Tortilla Dashboard
- Check the Firmware Update section for any updates
- If a firmware update is available, the message "New Version is Available" will appear in the Firmware Update section along with an option to download the update.
IMPORTANT: If the System Check shows Tortilla is not connected, connect the hardware before attempting a firmware update.
How To
Download And Install Tortilla Firmware Update
- Power on the Tortilla
- Log in to the Fiesta iOS App on the iPhone
- Tap the three horizontal lines at the top left
- Tap the Account Name
- Tap Hardware Dashboard
- Tap Tortilla Dashboard
- Tap Update in the Firmware Update section
- Confirm by tapping Update Firmware Now
Note: A loading screen will appear as the update begins. Do not turn off the Tortilla Booth or disconnect the iPhone during this update - Once the update has finished, a green banner will appear along the top of the screen confirming that the new version is installed. The Tortilla Booth information will also state "You Are Up To Date"
- Exit Fiesta
- Launch the iPhone Settings app
- Navigate to Bluetooth
- Turn the Bluetooth settings off, wait 10 seconds, and turn back on
IMPORTANT: You will not be able to use Tortilla while the update is running. DO NOT turn off/unplug the booth or close the app until the update is complete.
