What is an Overlay?

An Overlay in the Fiesta Software is a decorative frame that sits on top of your captures, and can be applied to Photo, GIF, Boomerang, Video, or 360 captures.

Overlays have no background, and are fully transparent where your guests' captures will show through from beneath the design, while the Overlay design sits on top of the capture.

What To Know
Difference Between Photo Templates And Overlays

Each Overlay contains a single Placeholder layer, which is a fixed layer indicating where a guest's capture will automatically appear once the capture is taken. Unlike in Photo Templates, Placeholder layers in Overlays cannot be added, removed, resized, or repositioned.

Templates, however, contain between one (1) and four (4) Placeholder layers which can be adjusted in size or shape. Photo Templates also have a Background layer, allowing for the adjustment allowed in Placeholders.
