Creating An Event
Creating an event is the first step in generating revenue and delivering a memorable guest experience.
After the event is created, it can be customized in many ways. Begin by confirming the event type, name, and date.
What To Know
Event Name
Choose a memorable and descriptive Event Name. Guests will see this name. A descriptive name also helps when searching for events within the Event screen or when managing multiple events.
A creative Event Name is welcome — there is no character limit.
What To Know
Date And Time
In the Fiesta Software, the Date, Time, and Duration control where the event appears on the Events screen.
Events are classified and organized as Upcoming or Past events. The Event Date, Event Start Time, and Event Duration all determine whether the event should be classified as Upcoming or Past when organized in the Events screen. Once the event's Event Duration has passed, the event will be moved to Past.
The Event Date, Event Time, and Event Duration will only affect the Event Auto Start. If the Event Auto Start is not enabled, the event will continue to run until manually ended.

The Event Duration can be set in increments of 15 minutes, up to 24 hours long. It is not possible to set multiple Event Times. If the event runs multiple days, the event will end the expected time on the set End Date - for example, if the event runs 4 days starting at 7pm and is set to 24 hours, the event will end at 7pm on the End Date selected.
IMPORTANT: The Date and Time fields must be completed to successfully create an event.
What To Know
Event Types
Event types depend on the booth in use, if any. The Fiesta Software supports four types of events: iPad, DSLR, 360, and Virtual.
