How Does Design Customization Work?
The Design Studio Editor provides tools for customizing Photo Templates and Overlays from the Library or My Designs. Text, uploaded graphics, Backgrounds, and Photo Placeholders can be added or adjusted directly on the design canvas.
Design content can also be repositioned, resized, and organized to create a finished design for an event.
Note: Design Studio is only available through the Fiesta Web App on computer or mobile web browsers.
What To Know
Text, Fonts, And Uploaded Assets
The Text tool adds editable text to a design and provides controls for changing its font and appearance. Text can also be resized and repositioned directly on the canvas.
The Upload tool adds custom images and graphics, such as logos or decorative design assets. Uploaded content can be resized, repositioned, and organized with other design content.
How To
Upload A Design Asset
- Log in to the Fiesta Web App
- Select Design Studio from the top navigation bar
- Open a design in the Design Studio Editor
- Select Upload from the left navigation bar
- Select the upload option from the Upload panel
- Select the image or graphic to upload from the device
- Add the uploaded asset to the design canvas
- Resize and reposition the asset as needed
- Select Save in the upper-right

Change Text Font
- Log in to the Fiesta Web App
- Select Design Studio from the top navigation bar
- Open a design in the Design Studio Editor
- Select the text to customize on the design canvas
- Select the Font menu for the selected text
- Select the desired font from the available font list
- Select Save in the upper-right
What To Know
Photo Placeholders
Photo Placeholders define where captures appear within a Photo Template. A Photo Template requires at least one Photo Placeholder and can include up to four.
Photo Placeholders are numbered from 1 through 4 to indicate the capture order. The size and position of each Photo Placeholder can be adjusted to build the desired Photo Template layout.
How To
Add Photo Placeholders To A Photo Template
- Log in to the Fiesta Web App
- Select Design Studio from the top navigation bar
- Open a Photo Template in the Design Studio Editor
- Select Frames from the left navigation bar
- Select the desired Frame option to add a Photo Placeholder
- Drag the Photo Placeholder to the desired position on the canvas
- Adjust the boundaries of the Photo Placeholder to change its size
- Repeat the steps as needed to add additional Photo Placeholders
- Select Save in the upper-right
What To Know
Backgrounds
The Background tool controls the area behind the other content in a Photo Template or Overlay. A Background can use a selected color or an available image.
The Background panel also includes a Search function for finding an image to use directly within the design.
How To
Customize A Background
- Log in to the Fiesta Web App
- Select Design Studio from the top navigation bar
- Open a design in the Design Studio Editor
- Select Background from the left navigation bar
- Select a Background color to apply a solid color
- To use an image, enter a search term in Search
- Select the desired image to apply it as the Background
- Select Save in the upper-right
What To Know
Saving Designs
Select Save in the upper-right of the Design Studio Editor to store the current changes made to a design. Saved designs remain available from My Designs so they can be reopened for additional customization or used with an event.
When a saved design is already being used for an event, changes apply to captures created after the updated design is saved. Captures created before the design is updated are not changed.

- Select Design Studio from the top navigation bar
- Open a design in the Design Studio Editor
- Make the desired changes to the design
- Select Undo or Redo as needed
- Select Save in the upper-right
What To Know
FAQ
Can I upload a custom font to Design Studio Editor?
- No. The Design Studio Editor uses the fonts available in the Font list. Custom font files cannot be uploaded.
Can I undo or redo a change while customizing a design?
- Yes. Select Undo to reverse a recent editing change or Redo to restore a change that was undone.
Can I select more than one item while customizing a design?
- Yes. Multiple design items can be selected together when working with supported editing controls.
