How To Send System Logs To Support

 

Guac’s System Logs can be helpful in resolving issues with your booth or when running an event. This guide will walk you through how to send them to our customer support team.

 


Explainer

What are System Logs?

 

Guac’s System Logs are a collection of data about how your booth is performing. These logs may contain important information that can be useful for our support team to better troubleshoot any issues you may run into.

The System Logs include:

  • Salsa account name

  • Hardware information

  • Event name and dates

  • Activity in the Fiesta iOS App

The System Logs do not include:

  • Fiesta account passwords

  • iPad, Guided Access, or event passcodes

  • Guest email addresses or phone numbers

  • Event captures


How To

Send System Logs To Support

 
  1. Assemble and power on Guac

  2. Set up the iPad Email App

  3. Log in to the Fiesta iOS App

  4. Tap the Settings gear in the top right corner

  5. Tap Guac & Chips

  6. Tap System Logs

    • Note: You may need to scroll down to find the System Logs button

  7. Tap Send System Logs

  8. Enter the email address support@photoboothsupplyco.com

  9. Enter your ticket number in the subject line

  10. Tap Send

Note: It may take a couple second to generate the email after tapping Send System Logs.


What To Know

System Logs Won't Send

 

If you don’t have an email address set up on your iPad or if the logs will not send, you can find the logs within the iPad’s Files app and send them directly to our customer support team.

  1. Locate and open the Files app on the iPad

  2. Tap Files on the top left corner

  3. Select On My iPad

  4. Tap the Fiesta folder

  5. Tap Select on the top of the screen

  6. Select the debug_logs folder

  7. Tap Share on the bottom left corner

  8. Select a method to share the folder to another device that can send outgoing emails

Once you’ve sent the debug_logs folder to another device, send that folder to support@photoboothsupplyco.com with your ticket number as the subject.
