What To Know
Fiesta Licenses

WhatToKnow-FiestaLicenses.png

A Fiesta license allows an account to run an in-person event. An active subscription with at least one license is also required to create, manage, and edit events, access Photobooth Academy, and keep event captures available through Live Galleries.

A Fiesta license also allows one iPad to log in to the Fiesta iOS App and run an in-person event.

When an iPad logs in to the Fiesta iOS App, one available license is assigned to that device. Devices with assigned licenses appear in the Devices section of Account Management.

If a device is removed from the Devices list, that license becomes available to use on a different device.

Learn more about managing assigned Devices.

With a single Fiesta license you can:

  • Log in to the Fiesta iOS App on one iPad
  • Access the Fiesta Web App from any device
  • Run unlimited Virtual Events
  • Keep Live Galleries online

Note: Virtual Events, 360 Events, and Printing are only available on Fiesta Pro.

If you plan on running more than one in-person event (excluding Sharing Stations) at the same time, you will need to add an additional license for each device.

What To Know
"No Licenses Available"

WhatToKnow-NoLicensesAvailable.png

You may receive a message stating, "there are no available Fiesta licenses" when trying to run events from more instances of the Fiesta iOS App than you have additional licenses available.

This can be due to a few reasons:

  • There are other iPads utilizing the license(s) available on the account
  • You were logged out of the Fiesta iOS App unexpectedly
  • There is an error in connection between the Fiesta servers and the Fiesta iOS App

To resolve this issue, you may need to remove an assigned iPad from your account or increase your number of licenses.

What To Know
Failed Payments

WhatToKnow-FailedPayments.png

A Fiesta Subscription payment may fail for a number of reasons, including:

  • Insufficient funds
  • An expired payment method
  • A paused or frozen payment method
  • A declined transaction from the bank

If a payment fails, confirm that the selected payment method has available funds, is active, and has not expired.

Note: Failed charges caused by a bank decline require follow-up directly with the bank.

After the payment issue has been corrected, retry the payment in the Fiesta Web App to keep the subscription active.

What To Know
Pausing Subscription

WhatToKnow-PausingSubscription.png

Your Fiesta Subscription includes the selected plan, number of licenses, and billing frequency for the account.

Pausing a subscription turns off auto-renew and schedules the subscription to reactivate on the next billing cycle date.

A subscription pause is only available for subscriptions that have been active for fewer than 6 consecutive months. If the subscription has been active longer than that, it must be canceled instead.

Note: Subscription pauses are only available for accounts on monthly billing. They can be applied to an account with any number of licenses.

What To Know
Canceling A Scheduled Pause

WhatToKnow-CancelingAScheduledPause.png

When a subscription pause is scheduled, the Fiesta account remains active until the next billing cycle date, since that subscription time has already been paid for.

Until the scheduled pause takes effect, the pause can be canceled to keep the subscription active and prevent it from pausing on the next billing cycle date.

Canceling a scheduled pause can be helpful if an event is booked unexpectedly. If there are no upcoming events for longer than one month, downgrading the subscription may be a better option instead.

Cancel A Scheduled Pause

  2. Click on your Account icon in the top right corner

What To Know
Canceling Subscription

WhatToKnow-CancelingSubscription.png

Cancelling a Fiesta subscription stops future Monthly or Annual renewals, and keeps the account available until the current billing cycle ends.

After the billing cycle ends, Fiesta access becomes inactive, and the account no longer includes access to Fiesta's features and services.

Without an active subscription, these Fiesta features are unavailable:
  • Fiesta iOS App for running iPad, DSLR, and 360 Events, or Sharing Stations
  • Virtual Events
  • Event settings
  • Event captures
  • Event Live Galleries
  • Proposals
  • Portfolio
  • Academy

Marketing Content, Success Hub, and Account Management remain available while the subscription is inactive.

To resume service, log in to the Fiesta Web App in a web browser to restart the subscription. Access to events, captures, and features included in the selected Subscription Tier returns immediately after reactivation.

IMPORTANT: Accounts without an active subscription for 12 consecutive months are permanently deleted. Deleted accounts cannot be restored.

What To Know
Scheduled Downgrades

Downgrading your Fiesta subscription does not immediately adjust your subscription, as payments are made to cover the following month, not the prior month. To avoid losing access to removed licenses, or Fiesta Pro features, downgrades are scheduled to occur on your next billing cycle date.

If you need to make additional changes while a downgrade is scheduled, or if you change your mind about downgrading, you can cancel the scheduled downgrade in the Billing section of Account Management.

What To Know
When Changes Take Effect

WhatToKnow-WhenChangesTakeEffect.png

Changes to your subscription plan or license count may apply immediately or may take effect on the next billing cycle, depending on the type of change.

The sections below explain when each type of subscription change takes effect.

License Changes

Increasing the number of licenses:

  • New licenses can be assigned to additional iPads immediately
  • My Plan will update to reflect the new total
  • A prorated charge applies as soon as an additional license is added

Decreasing the number of licenses:

  • You keep your current number of licenses until the start of the next billing cycle
  • Your next invoice reflects the lower license count
  • iPads with the oldest "Last Activity" date will be logged out
  • If reduced to 0 licenses, all devices are logged out at the end of the billing cycle

Plan Upgrades & Downgrades

Upgrading to Fiesta Pro:

  • Immediate access to all Fiesta Pro features
  • All licenses upgrade to Fiesta Pro
  • A prorated charge applies as soon as the plan is upgraded

Downgrading to Fiesta Plus:

  • You keep Fiesta Pro features until the start of the next billing cycle
  • Your invoice updates to reflect the downgrade
  • All licenses downgrade to Fiesta Plus
  • Access is removed for Fiesta Pro-exclusive features like Printing and Virtual Booth at the start of the next billing cycle

Billing Frequency Changes

Switching from Monthly to Annually:

  • A prorated charge covers the current month plus the remaining year
  • Payment is processed immediately when the billing frequency change is made
  • Your next invoice is due exactly 1 year from the date of the billing frequency change

Switching from Annually to Monthly:

  • No immediate changes or charges
  • Your monthly subscription will begin after your paid year of subscription concludes
  • Your next invoice is due at the end of your annual subscription

What To Know
FAQ

I'm trying to connect my new iPad but it keeps saying I am out of licenses, do I need to buy a new license for the new iPad?

  • If the old iPad is no longer being used, remove it from the account so the license can be reassigned to the new iPad.
  • If both iPads will remain active, a separate license is required for each device.

I removed all of my licenses and cancelled my subscription because I have no events this month, why can't I access my events' Live Galleries?

  • An active subscription with at least one license is necessary to access Live Galleries from past events
  • Once the subscription is reactivated, access to Live Galleries will be available
  • If access to Live Galleries is essential, we recommend keeping at least 1 Fiesta Plus license active

I switched my subscription from a Pro Subscription to a Plus Subscription, why do I still have access to Pro features?

  • When downgrading, access to Fiesta Pro features continues through the end of the current billing period.
  • For monthly subscriptions, this lasts until the end of the month. For annual subscriptions, access continues until the end of the paid year.

Can I mix and match subscription tiers, or set some of my licenses to monthly billing and others to annual billing?

  • No. A single account cannot have both Fiesta Plus and Fiesta Pro active at the same time.
  • Only one subscription tier — Plus or Pro — can be active at a time
  • All of the device licenses on one account will have the same billing frequency (Monthly or Annually)
  • If you need the flexibility to switch from Plus to Pro between billing renewals, choosing monthly billing will be your best option
