What Are Account Integrations?

Account Integrations connect Fiesta to other services, including Dropbox and FTP (File Transfer Protocol).

These integrations help manage events by automatically sending and receiving captures between Fiesta and connected services. Integrations are required for certain features, such as Dropbox Watch Folder.

What To Know
Dropbox

WhatToKnow-Dropbox.png

Connecting Dropbox with Fiesta allows event capture files to be accessed for client delivery, editing, backup storage, or syncing with another integration within Dropbox.

When Dropbox is connected, captures automatically upload to both the event’s Live Gallery and an automatically generated folder in Dropbox. A connected Dropbox account also enables Dropbox Watch Folder, which allows Fiesta to download images and videos added to a Dropbox folder and upload them to an event’s Live Gallery.

Note: An automatically generated Dropbox Sync folder cannot be selected as an event's Dropbox Watch folder.

Note: Dropbox integration is only available on the Fiesta Pro subscription tier.

What To Know
Dropbox Event Backup

What To Know - Dropbox Event Backup.png

After Dropbox is connected to Fiesta, all new captures automatically upload to the connected Dropbox account. These captures are located in the newly created folder at Dropbox/Apps/PBSCO_Fiesta.

Each new event creates a new folder with the event ID and event name. The event ID is the last four characters of the Live Gallery web address.

Note: Deleting captures from the Dropbox account will not affect the event within Fiesta or remove captures from the event’s Live Gallery.

What To Know
Dropbox Watch Folder

What To Know - Dropbox Watch Folder.png

Connecting a Dropbox account also enables Dropbox Watch Folder. This allows a folder to be selected for Fiesta to watch for any new images or videos.

Once a compatible image or video is added to the selected Dropbox folder, Fiesta makes a copy of it in the event’s Live Gallery. This feature supports a Sharing Station workflow for another photo booth, so guests can view and share captures using the Fiesta iOS App.

IMPORTANT: Dropbox Watch Folder only accepts JPG and MP4 files.

FTP (File Transfer Protocol) connects Fiesta to a private server, similar to using Dropbox.

Once connected, all new captures automatically upload to the connected FTP server. Each new event creates a new folder with the event ID and event name. The event ID is the last four characters of the Live Gallery web address.

Note: FTP integration is only available on the Fiesta Pro subscription tier.

What To Know
FAQ

Why aren't the captures already in my Dropbox Watch Folder syncing to my event?

  • Fiesta can only sync new captures uploaded to a Dropbox Watch Folder after the folder has been connected to the event, and will not sync pre-existing captures.

Can you set up my FTP connection for me?

  • We’re happy to provide instructions on what server information is needed, but connecting Fiesta to your server through FTP will need to be done by you or your server administrator.
