What Are Printing Settings?

Queso’s printer allows for a number of customization and options when providing physical memories to your guests.

By default, Queso will allow guest to select up to 5 prints for each capture – including the individual pictures within the photo template.

Within the Printing Settings, you can set up auto printing, limits to the number of prints, change the size of the individual photo prints, and add overlays to them.

How To

Turn Printing On or Off

By default, printing is turned on for all new events. This provides guests the option to print their captures along with other sharing options, such as email and text.

You may want to turn printing off if you are running a digital-only event or if you have auto print turned on.

To turn on Printing on or off:

  1. Launch QuesOS

  2. Select an event or create a new event

  3. Tap Printing

  4. Tap Enabled or Disabled under Printing

Note: If printing is turned off, you can still have auto print turned on for Queso to automatically print photo templates after each session.

What To Know

Auto Print Template

Queso can be set up to automatically print a copy of a photo template after a capture session.

If auto print is turned on, you can turn printing off to prevent guests from printing their own copies. However, you can also allow for both automatic and manual printing by keeping both options on.

To turn on Auto Print Template:

  1. Launch QuesOS

  2. Select an event or create a new event

  3. Tap Printing

  4. Tap Enabled under Auto Print Template

Print Limit

A limit can be set for how many copies guests can print after each session. This value is displayed when guests tap Print on the share screen.

The limit can be set from 1 to 5 prints.

To set a Print Limit:

  1. Launch QuesOS

  2. Select an event or create a new event

  3. Tap Printing

  4. Tap the number under Print Limit

  5. Enter in a number 1 through 5

Note: Guests will still be able to re-select the capture to print more copies. This limit does not affect automatically printed copies.

Note: The individual photos will still be saved to Queso hard drive in the event folder if Individual Images is turned off.
