What are SD Card Warnings?

SD Card Warnings are notifications that pop up to inform there is limited space on the SD card or that the Fiesta software is not detecting an SD card in the camera. These notifications are to help ensure there are no issues during an event, as the Fiesta software relies on the camera's SD card when processing captures during a DSLR Event.

These pop-ups will appear on the Events screen and on the Event Check screen before the event is launched. If needed, all popups can be ignored and the event can still run with the exception of the SD Card Missing notification.

These popups appear starting when there is less than 5GB of storage available on the SD Card.

This error will appear on both the Events Screen and the Event Check screen when the SD card drops below 2GB of available storage. We recommend managing SD card storage at this time, as larger events can use more than 2GB of storage. However, if the issue cannot be addressed immediately, both popups can be closed and the event run. A quick link to the SD Storage Management article is also available to take care of the issue immediately.

SD Card Not Found

Modal Dialogue (3).png

This error will appear on the System Check screen and will prevent the event from starting, as the Fiesta software requires the SD card to process captures.

It can be caused by the SD card not being properly inserted into the camera, no SD card being inserted into the camera, or the SD card not properly reading because of damage or corruption. To resolve, remove and reinsert the SD card if one is inserted, or insert a new SD card.

What To Know
SD Card Management

The Fiesta software utilized the SD card to process and store raw versions of captures from DSLR Events. Over time, these raw captures will fill up the SD card. These captures can be used as a backup option, or to upload for more customization later.

It is important, however, to regularly clear the SD card to free up space. If the SD card is full, the Fiesta software will run into issues running DSLR Events.
