What To Know
Shipping Chips

Here are a few key things to keep in mind when prepping Chips for shipment:

  • Make sure the printer media has been removed from the printer and the scrap bin has been cleaned out.
  • After transport, especially flying, your printer will need time to acclimate to the current temperature and humidity level. We do not advise using the printer immediately after travel.

IMPORTANT: Transporting the printer with the printer media inside can cause issues with jamming and/or damage to the heating element

What To Know
Shipping Insurance

When shipping items, there is always a risk of damage or loss during transit. While the Guac & Chips cases have been rigorously tested – including being thrown down stairs! – damage can still occur, and items can be lost.

For peace of mind, we recommend insuring the booth during shipping. This ensures that if anything happens, it will be easier to repair or replace the booth.
