Event Standby Screen
The Standby Screen is a tool designed to assist when the booth is not currently taking guests. Customized graphics or text can be used to better match the event's theme and the current reason the booth is not active.
While the booth is displaying the Standby Screen, the LED ring will be disabled as well.
Note: The Standby Screen feature is only available with a Fiesta Pro subscription.
What To Know
When To Use The Standby Screen
The booth can be disabled for a number of reasons. It can be because the event has not started yet, because the booth attendant has stepped away, or because there is a technical issue that needs addressed before the event can continue.
Regardless of the issue, we want the ability to inform guests of the situation to be in your hands.
How To
Enable The Standby Screen
- Log in to Fiesta
- Select an event or create a new event
- Select Configure Event
- Select the Interface tab
Note: Make sure Event Auto Start is enabled - Toggle on Standby Screen
Once the Standby Screen is enabled, it can be customized for your event.
What To Know
Adjusting The Standby Screen
The Standby Screen provides multiple options to inform guests and provide the most appropriate method to pass the message along.
Custom Messages can be added, with a 100-character limit. This message will appear as plain text on a black background on the Event Screen when activated.
A Custom Image or Video can be added instead of text to better display the intent. This option allows for more visual customization, in a single image or video walkthrough with important context.
Note: either a custom message, custom image, or custom video must be added for the Standby Screen to activate.
