What are iCloud and Update settings?
Keeping the iOS device and the Fiesta Software up-to-date is important to ensure you have the latest features and improvements. These updates can be automated within the iOS device's settings.
An Apple ID is required to download the Fiesta iOS App. It can also be used to transfer files and information between a computer and the iPad, and track the location of your iPad using Apple's Find My feature.
There are two main areas that you can sign into an iOS device using your Apple ID: the App Store and iCloud. You can sign into both using the same or different Apple IDs.
What To Know
iCloud Settings
While you can sign in with an existing Apple ID, you may not want to sync all information for security or privacy reasons.
To avoid this, you can either create a separate, unique Apple ID specifically for the iOS devices for your photo booths, or you can disable some or all of the syncing options.
How To
Disable iCloud
- Open the iOS Settings app
- Tap your Profile at the top of the left navigation, below the search bar
- Tap iCloud
- Toggle off anything you don't want to appear on the iOS device
What To Know
Automatic Updates
It is important to run on the most updated version of Fiesta, as Fiesta servers rely on the app being updated to properly communicate and updates often include new features and bug fixes. Keeping the iOS updated is equally as important, as each Fiesta update is designed for the most recent iOS version.
Turning on Automatic Updates helps ensure both the app and the device are fully updated and ready to go for each event.
How To
Turn On Automatic iOS Updates
- Open the Settings app
- Tap General in the left navigation
- Tap Software Update
- Tap Automatic Updates
- Toggle on Download iPadOS Updates
Note: You can also turn on Install iOS Updates. The iOS device will attempt to install updates overnight as long as the device is actively charging and connected to the internet.
