Known Issues in Fiesta Version 1.3.5

Note: All currently known issues listed below are being actively investigated by our team to resolve them as quickly as possible.

Important: Issues listed below are not organized or separated by priority. Urgent issues are labeled as "Top Priority."

 

Capture Processing Time

Why is it taking so long to see my capture?

Some users have experienced an extended processing time between taking a capture, and having the capture appear. 

 

Troubleshooting steps:

  1. Update Fiesta Software
    • Fiesta version 1.1.51 included some improvements to video capture times, while our engineering team continues to work on long-term improvements for even faster processing times

 

 

iPad Storage

Why is Fiesta using so much storage on my device?

Some users have experienced Fiesta taking up more storage on their device than expected.

 

Troubleshooting steps:

  1. Update Fiesta Software.
    • Fiesta version 1.3 introduced a new feature called Automatic Capture Management which automatically removes captures from the device 7 days after being uploaded to the Live Gallery
    • Prior to version 1.3, Fiesta was not correctly removing captures from device storage

Lag After Updating

Why is Fiesta responding slower since I updated the app?

Some of Fiesta's more architectural changes in recent releases has caused slowness for some users. 

 

Troubleshooting steps:

  1.  Uninstall and reinstall Fiesta while you do not have pending captures
    • This will ensure Fiesta runs as expected by providing a clean local installation

 

 

Guest Experience (iPad, DSLR, And 360 Events)

Why are my edits that I made in Design Studio not showing up in the Fiesta iOS App on my device?

Some users have experienced an issue where edits made to a Photo Template or Overlay in Design Studio do not appear on the Fiesta iOS App after a design has already been synced to the Fiesta iOS App.

 

Troubleshooting steps:

  1. Update Fiesta Software
    • Fiesta version 1.3.2 introduced a fix which resolved an issue that prevented edits to Photo Templates and Overlays from syncing with events

 

 

Event Settings - Modes

I created an Overlay in Design Studio for a 360 Event, but I can't find it in my existing designs - where is it?

Some users are experiencing an issue where Overlays may not appear when browsing existing designs from the 360 Modes settings. 

 

Troubleshooting Steps:

  • Our engineering team is working on long-term improvements for Fiesta. Updates will be announced with future software releases

 

 

Printing (iPad And DSLR Events)

I keep running into an issue when trying to print - how do I fix this?

Some users have experienced an issue when trying to print due to an Apple iOS/iPad OS bug.

 

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Restart your iPad
  2. If you are using an AirPrint dongle to print, restart both your iPad and your AirPrint dongle

 

Why do my 2x6 prints look stretched when printing after an event?

Some users have experienced an issue with 2x6 prints looking stretched when reprinting from Gallery Mode or Sharing Station while using an AirPrint dongle.

 

Troubleshooting steps:

  1. Update Fiesta Software
    • Fiesta version 1.3.2 introduced a fix which resolved an issue causing 2x6 Photo Templates to be stretched when printed from Gallery Mode or Sharing Station

 

 

Sharing Station

Why is Fiesta taking so long to load captures in Sharing Station?

Some users have experienced an issue with long load times in Sharing Station for events numerous captures.

 

Troubleshooting steps:

  1. Remain connected to Wi-Fi and wait for all captures to finish downloading
    • Subsequent starts of Sharing Station will load immediately

 

 

Sharing Station and Gallery Mode

Why does the app keep closing when trying to use Gallery Mode or Sharing Station?

Some users have experienced the Fiesta App unexpectedly closing when using Galley Mode or Sharing Station in an event with more than one thousand captures.

 

Troubleshooting steps:

  1. Try duplicating the event to be able to run the same configuration without the number of captures causing a loading issue

 

 

Hands-Free Mode

Why does the app keep closing when I try to use Hands-Free Mode?

Some users have experienced an issue with the Fiesta iOS App crashing when trying to use Hands-Free Mode.

 

Troubleshooting steps:

  1. Update both your iPadOS and Fiesta iOS App

 

Salsa App - Known Degradation Issues

Note: Issues listed in this section should not be expected to be resolved prior to the Salsa App being sunset on July 1st, 2025.

 

Photo Templates & Overlays

Why can't I remove a Photo Template by duplicating a Salsa App event anymore?

Some users have experienced an issue where duplicated events continue to hold onto the original event's Photo Template, instead of being deleted as previously expected.

 

Troubleshooting steps:

  1. Create a new Salsa App event from scratch; or
  2. Log in to Fiesta, and delete the Photo Template from Fiesta's event settings

 

Why can't I remove my Photo Template or Overlay in Fiesta?

Some users have experienced an issue where Photo Templates and Overlays cannot be removed in Fiesta after adding both a Photo Template and an Overlay to their event in the Salsa App.

 

Troubleshooting steps:

  1. Create a new event from scratch in Fiesta; or
  2. Remove all Overlays from the event within the Salsa App, and re-add the Overlays in Fiesta
