What To Know
When To Lock The Roamer
Salsa 2 has the ability to transform from Stationary Mode to Roamer Mode, however because of this the front face of the booth can be opened and removed. This can present as an issue when setting up for an installation, or if the booth will be unmanned for the duration of the event.
Not to worry! It is possible to lock the Salsa 2 Roamer with a physical lock and key - or combination lock. It will be hidden from view, so no worrying about people trying to tamper with it or the aesthetic of your booth being ruined in the name of security.
How To
Lock The Head To The Poles
What You Need:
- Salsa 2 Booth
- Philips Head Screwdriver
Assembly:
- Assemble the Salsa 2 Booth
- Open the Salsa 2 Head using the Roamer Release lever
- Guide the screwdriver through the rubber Shell Grommet to align with the small screws on either side of the Neck Cable Conduit
- Tighten these screws until the Salsa 2 head knobs can no longer turn
Once you have tightened these screws, you cannot disassemble the Salsa 2 Booth again until they are loosened. This locks the whole assembly together, making it impossible to take apart and secure for drop-off events or permanent installations.
Lock The Roamer
What You Need:
- Salsa 2 Booth
- Lock or Zip Tie
Assembly:
- Assemble the Salsa 2 Booth
- Ensure everything in the Salsa 2 head is stored correctly
- Close the Salsa 2 head
Under and inside the Salsa 2 head, on the Roamer Release lever, is a loop that aligns with a corresponding metal plate. This is where the lock or zip tie is attached; once a lock is attached, the Roamer Release lever cannot be pulled and the Salsa 2 head cannot be opened.
What To Store And What Not To Store
It is important to keep in mind once the Roamer is locked, it is not possible to open the Salsa 2 head unless the Roamer Release lever is unlocked. Because of this, only items that will not need to be removed for the duration of the event should be stored inside of the Salsa 2 head. This includes a wifi hotspot or a battery pack if they are being used, but would eliminate things being stored like keys, Gaff tape, or other accessories.
