Email Sharing is one of the many options you can provide your guests to send their captures to themselves from an in-person event, virtual event, or sharing station.
Email Sharing’s benefits over other sharing options include a greater amount of branding and customization, as well as the ability to collect the email addresses entered by guests.
The email addresses entered by guests when sharing their captures are saved as part of the event’s sharing data. This data can be downloaded after the event for marketing or other purposes.
By default, emails are sent from a generic email address (email@boothmailer.com). This can be changed to your own business email address using the Custom Sending Address feature for a completely customized experience.
Note: Custom Sending Address requires a custom domain name and a Fiesta Pro subscription
Features
Email Sharing has a wide-range of customizations to fully personalize and brand the experience.
These customizations include:
- Sender’s Name: The name that appears in the guests’ inbox that shows who the email is from. Most booth owners put their company’s name here.
- Subject Line: This is whatever you would like to have appear in the subject line of the received email. We like “Honk if You Love Your Photos!”, but you do you.
- Reply-to Address: The Reply-to address gives your guests an option to get in direct contact with you. This is a great way for interested guests to reach out to you for booking their upcoming events.
- Email Message: This is where you would adjust the message of the email - both the headline and the body!

What To Know
If the iPad used for running the event is not connected to an Internet network, the Fiesta iOS app will automatically enter into Offline Mode.
While in Offline Mode, Email Sharing, along with all other sharing options enabled for the event, will still be available. However, guests will not receive their Email Shares immediately.
Guests’ email addresses will be stored and queued to be sent out once the iPad reconnects to the Internet and the Fiesta iOS app is open.
If your event requires that guests receive their captures immediately, you may want to offer AirDrop as a sharing option.
Notes:
- Guests will not be prompted to complete a survey when sharing via AirDrop.
- AirDrop requires guests to have a compatible iOS device, such as an iPhone, to receive captures.
